Monthly Art Social at Red Bean Coffee Pickens Arts & Cultural Alliance(PACA) is reaching out to artists and art lovers alike to join us for a relaxed and inspiring monthly gathering.  Our new social group PACA Arts Connections is a group of volunteers who are passionate about teaching art and also the love of art.   Whether you’re a seasoned creative or simply enjoy the arts, this welcoming community is the perfect place to connect, share ideas, and spark new friendships. Enjoy casual conversation, creative tips, and a supportive atmosphere designed to encourage creativity in all forms. Each session will feature helpful insights, including photography tips with Judith Pishnery and acrylic painting tips with Rita Warner. Saturday, August 29, 2026 | 2:00–5:00 PM Downtown Jasper, Georgia Get creative with the Pickens Arts and Cultural Alliance (PACA) during Music in the Alley in downtown Jasper, Georgia! This fun community event presented by the Jasper Downtown Development Authority brings together music, chalk art, local artists, creativity, and community connection for an afternoon of art and entertainment. PACA will have a special Chalk Art area where local artists, aspiring artists, families, and community members can grab some chalk and help us transform our space into a colorful celebration of creativity. Whether you are an experienced chalk artist, a painter, illustrator, doodler, or simply someone who loves to make art, we invite you to join us and create something fun! 🎨 Create Chalk Art with PACA This is a relaxed, social opportunity to meet other local artists, connect with the Pickens County arts community, and enjoy making art together. ArtWalk is a vibrant community event series that transforms Main Street in Jasper, Georgia into a lively celebration of visual art and live music. Local artists will be displaying their work inside participating downtown businesses, which will remain open during the event for shopping and browsing, creating a unique and interactive arts experience throughout the district. The event features vendor booths for local craftsmen, artists, and food vendors, along with live musicians performing throughout the evening and a variety of food trucks offering delicious options for all to enjoy.
