Monthly Art Social at Red Bean Coffee Pickens Arts & Cultural Alliance(PACA) is reaching out to artists and art lovers alike to join us for a relaxed and inspiring monthly gathering.  Our new social group PACA Arts Connections is a group of volunteers who are passionate about teaching art and also the love of art.   Whether you’re a seasoned creative or simply enjoy the arts, this welcoming community is the perfect place to connect, share ideas, and spark new friendships. Enjoy casual conversation, creative tips, and a supportive atmosphere designed to encourage creativity in all forms. Each session will feature helpful insights, including photography tips with Judith Pishnery and acrylic painting tips with Rita Warner.   ArtWalk is a vibrant, family-friendly community event series that transforms historic downtown Jasper into a lively celebration of visual art, live music, and local culture. Held along Main Street, this highly anticipated event invites residents and visitors to experience the creative energy of the region while supporting small businesses, local artists, and makers. Shopping & Art During ArtWalk, guests can stroll through participating downtown shops and galleries, where talented local and regional artists showcase their work in a unique, walkable art experience. Businesses remain open late, offering an engaging atmosphere for shopping, browsing, and connecting with the creative community. From paintings and photography to handmade crafts and mixed media, attendees will discover a diverse lineup of original artwork available for purchase. In addition to the indoor gallery experience, ArtWalk features an exciting outdoor marketplace filled with artist vendors and craftsmen offering one-of-a-kind items for sale. Guests can explore booths featuring handmade goods, artisan products, jewelry, home décor, and more—making it the perfect opportunity to find unique gifts while supporting local creators. FOOD Food lovers will enjoy a delicious variety of local food truck vendors serving everything from savory street food to sweet treats. The event creates a festival-like atmosphere where attendees can grab a bite, relax, and enjoy the evening. Live music performances will be featured throughout downtown, showcasing an incredible lineup of local musicians and adding to the energetic and welcoming vibe.  ArtWalk is more than just an art event—it’s an immersive cultural experience designed to bring the community together. Whether you're an art enthusiast, music lover, foodie, or simply looking for a fun day out, ArtWalk offers something for everyone. The ArtWalk Committee is already hard at work planning an unforgettable experience for 2026, featuring a whimsical floral-themed wonderland that will transform downtown into a colorful and imaginative space. Attendees can also look forward to an exciting lineup of artists and performers, including a lively Latin-fused party experience with the band Perrengue, bringing high-energy music and dancing to the streets. You will learn how to control your camera, freeze motion, blur motion, control depth of field, nail focus, and choose lenses that shape the story you want to tell. This class is not just about buttons and settings. In this 90 minute weekly class, you will learn how to organize your images, build a clean and efficient Library, and understand the Develop tools that shape exposure, color, contrast, and detail. We start with the basics of importing, rating, and managing your files so you always know where your photos live. Then we dive into creative editing, including how to correct exposure, enhance color, use presets, and apply masks to guide the viewer’s eye. You will practice simple workflows that help you edit faster and more intentionally, and you will learn how to export and share your finished images with confidence. This class is designed to be fun, supportive, and full of aha moments. By the end of the four weeks, you will feel comfortable navigating Lightroom, making thoughtful edits, and developing a style that feels like your own.
