I’m an amateur. Roughly one painting is completed every 10 years – if I have time.

In the 1980s, New England farmers used individual buckets on Maple trees to collect sap. That prompted “Waiting for Spring” and “Buckets and Barrels”. My wife insisted on the apple next to wine glass saying – “when it rots, the setting comes down!”
