Multiple layers of paint are applied, mirroring the way memories are built. Connections emerge as colors and shapes become exponentially more complex. Flowers and trees to Lee are about hope, resilience and new beginnings. Their endless variety of shapes and colors are familiar and she somehow always discovers something new.

Lee works in a loose and vibrant style that abstracts her subjects in a recognizable way. Mountains, florals and horses inspire hope, strength and resilience in her. Lee lives in Canton, Georgia and earned a BFA from Florida State University.
