Medium: pottery

August wheel throws functional pottery. She carries two different styles/lines of work. One is a traditional glaze only ware and they other is a more whimsical style using underglaze transfers. Everything is intended for everyday use and is microwave, dishwasher, and over safe.

August is self taught and taking clay from the earth and make it into something useful always amazed her. Throwing pottery has become her stress-reliever, her time of day to center herself and enjoy the simplicity of creating.
