Stacy Harris

Medium: acrylics/mixed media

Stacy creates mixed media pieces primarily with acrylic paint, modeling paste and preserved flowers. She spends a lot of time gathering natural items to dry/preserve and incorporate into my paintings. She typically starts each piece in an intuitive way with alcohol ink and then allows for the unique shapes and color blending to inspire her to guide it into a certain direction.

Stacy lives with her partner and kids on a farm in Talking Rock. Currently, she works as a Mental Health Therapist in Ellijay. At heart, she’s always been an artist, but she’s just now learning how to truly lean into that part of herself and share it with others.
