SUMMARY:Children's Marbling Workshops
DESCRIPTION:Children 3rd grade and above are invited to the Pickens County Public Library to learn the art technique of marbling on paper and textiles. This workshop will highlight the unique cultural and artistic contribution marble has had on Pickens County\, the Marble Capital of Georgia! Happening February 19th at 1:30 PM and again at 4:00 PM. This workshop is made possible by a grant from the Georgia Council for the Arts in association with the National Endowment for the Arts\, awarded to Pickens Arts and Cultural Alliance (PACA). Registration is free but required in advance.
